Boarding Requirements

Cats must be vaccinated for FeLV. The vaccination/booster must be no older than                 10 months from the date of boarding. A clear photo of the vaccination card                       bearing the up-to-date vaccination indicating FeLV coverage must be sent via                     WhatsApp or email.

Your cat must be FeLV negative to board. AI overview: Feline leukemia virus (FeLV)                is a common, often fatal retrovirus in cats that suppresses the immune system,                    causes cancer (lymphoma, leukemia), and induces anemia. It spreads via saliva,                    nasal secretions, urine, or feces during mutual grooming, bite wounds, or sharing                  bowls. While there is no cure, a vaccine is available for prevention

Owners provide their cat’s food and litter. Closer to your boarding date, we will                    contact you with a checklist and guidance on appropriate quantities.

Boarding during the months of June through November (hurricane season),                         requires a designated hurricane emergency contact.

A minimum stay of 5 days applies.

We do not board unneutered male cats over 6 months old which is generally                      considered the age of sexual maturity (unneutered male kittens under that age                    are accepted.). Unfortunately, unneutered males commonly will spray inside suites.

A flea treatment must be applied within one week prior to boarding. Proof of                     application by a video recording of the application must be sent via WhatsApp.                   Never overlap flea treatments; they must be spaced at least 5 weeks apart. –                   Always use the correct dose for your cat’s weight.

Each cat must arrive in a hard or secure carrier that can be lifted quickly and                    easily in the event of an emergency. If you do not have a hard carrier, we                      have a limited number available for use. Hard carriers provide better protection                    than soft carriers, especially during emergencies, and are easier to handle. Soft                    carriers often burst at seams, unzip, or collapse onto the cat and it is a risk in a boarding situation. We’re happy to work with you on this—just let us know upfront what type of carrier you have.

A deposit is required to secure a reservation. Bookings are not confirmed until the                 deposit is received. A deposit invoice will be sent once you are ready to proceed.                 Payment for boarding is required upfront and can be made by online transfer or in             cash at drop-off. We’ll confirm the preferred method with you closer to your                       arrival date.

A fully completed and signed online intake form is required and will be sent to                     you close to your arrival date.
