General Information & Policies
Hours of Operation
Open Monday to Saturday. Closed on Sundays. Drop-off and collection times vary and are scheduled between 10:30 AM – 2:00 PM by appointment only. Appointment times will be confirmed closer to your stay with a mutually agreed time. Please consider your confirmed time as a set appointment, not a general window. If you anticipate any delay, we kindly ask that you notify us as soon as possible. We schedule staff at specific hours around appointments and suite preparation.
Carriers & Safety
All cats must arrive inside their carrier for drop-off. While some owners transport cats loose in vehicles, for safety reasons cats must already be secured in their carrier upon arrival. At collection, cats must remain inside their carrier until they have exited the premises to minimize any safety risk.
Photo, Video & Connection Updates
We send WhatsApp photo and video updates every three days for families to enjoy. You’re also welcome to send voice notes, which we’re happy to play for your cat. If requested, we can arrange a live FaceTime call as well. As a cat parent myself, I understand how important it is to feel connected, and I aim to provide that peace of mind. If you are on island but need to board, once-weekly visits with your cat can also be arranged.
Medical Status
We can board FIV-positive cats. We cannot board FeLV-positive cats. Please inform us in advance if your cat is FIV-positive.
Location & Directions
We are located approximately 3 minutes from the Rubis Market Hill Gas Station in St George, before reaching the old Andrews factory in St Joseph. Closer to your drop-off date, we will send detailed directions via WhatsApp, including a video and pin location.
Post-Spay Boarding
We offer post-spay boarding where your cat can stay in a large tent inside a private suite for a few days to limit jumping in a quiet, stress-free environment, followed by additional monitoring and care in the suite as needed
Moving House Recommendation
If you are moving, we strongly recommend boarding your cat(s) during pre-packing, loading, moving, and unpacking. Changes in routine, noise, and traffic in and out of the home can be very stressful for cats. Boarding provides a calm, quiet environment so they can return once everything is settled.
Cat Transportation
If you do not have a vehicle, we can connect you with a trusted pet transporter that we partner with.
Medical Needs Cats
We are not veterinarians. However, as an experienced cat caregiver, I can administer medications that you provide, along with clear written instructions. You indemnify Comfort Cat Hotel from liability for adverse reactions, medication effects, or pre-existing conditions. A discretionary medical attention fee may apply and will be discussed and agreed upon in advance.
E Emergency Veterinary Visits
While Boarding if your cat shows signs that veterinary attention may be required, we will notify you immediately. A fee to attend a veterinary visit with your cat applies (outlined in your intake form). All veterinary costs are paid directly by you to the veterinary clinic. Central Vet, the emergency clinic closest to the hotel, is our primary referral and is generally accommodating with payment arrangements.
